Hamilton Rail Terminal
Our terminal features dedicated rail sidings served by both CN and CP, supporting bulk transloading with heavy industrial cranes and specialized equipment. We also operate one of the only privately-owned rail sidings purpose-built and CN-approved for intermodal cars in Southwestern Ontario.
CN/CP Served Transloading
Dedicated rail sidings with cranes, platforms, and heavy-lift equipment to transload commodities, including lumber, steel, grains fertilizer, and more.
Container/Intermodal Rail Interchange
Active CN interchange for intermodal railcars such as 20', 40', 45', and 53' containers.
Cross-Docking & Direct Transfer
Cross-docking for both rail and truck freight, enabling rapid transfer of palletized or floor-loaded cargo without long-term storage.

We provide full-service ground freight solutions with a dedicated fleet of GPS-tracked trucks and a wide range of modern chassis, including tri-axles, B-trains, and overweight-rated equipment.
As a bonded carrier in both Canada and the U.S., we specialize in drayage, long haul, and cross-border container moves. With EDI integration, hazmat-certified drivers, and secure container handling facilities, we support both cargo owners and freight forwarders through real-time tracking, customs compliance, and coordinated end-to-end execution.
Drayage Trucking
We offer reliable, on-time, and cost-effective local drayage services. With our dedicated fleet and strategically located depots, we complete CN, CP, and CY pickups and pre-pulls efficiently.
Our operation is supported by a wide range of specialized chassis, including 20′, 40′, 45′, B-train, and reefer chassis, ensuring we can handle all container types with the right equipment for the job.
Cross Border Linehaul Trucking
Our dedicated linehaul team moves dry and reefer ocean containers across Canada and the Northeast US Corridor including New York/New Jersey ports, Philadelphia, CSX Buffalo and Detroit, and door moves across Canada and the U.S.
As bonded carrier on both sides of the border, we handle in-bond shipments with full ACE and ACI compliance, ensuring smooth, customs-cleared movement throughout the Northeast corridor.
HCT Flatbed Division
We operate our own quad-axle and 5-axle flatbeds fleet and heavy-spec trucks to move a variety of commodities across Eastern Canada.
Our equipment includes open flatbeds, rolltites, & tarping systems. We are experienced with steel, lumber, industrial equipment, construction equipment, and other heavy commodities. With direct dispatch, real-time GPS tracking, and drivers experienced in cross-provincial regulations, we ensure reliable and compliant transportation for complex freight moves.

HCT's first inducement call on the Hamilton - Montreal corridor
HCT conducted its first inducement call of 300 containers loaded onto our chartered M/V Sedna Desgagnés at the Port of Hamilton, transloaded at the Port of Montreal for international export.
